So I had about 30,000 ideas for the wedding, some of which were cool, some of which were ridiculous, but we couldn’t do them ALL. One of the ideas that I loved that ultimately didn’t make the cut was a singalong, such like they have at the end of Wits. Specifically the one where John Hodgman was the guest, Damian Kulash of OK Go was the musical guest, Neil Fucking Gaiman just randomly showed up, and Hodgman had a ukelele. They lead the audience in singing “Happy Together.” There was an AMAZING YouTube video of this, but it’s been taken down because Happy Together is a song somebody owns, and apparently someone hates pure joy.

I can’t see me lovin’ nobody but you for all my life.

Tomorrow is the rehearsal. The day after that, somebody’s getting married.
